Summer of Roses
I had read Summer's Child by Luanne Rice a while ago. While my mother had given me this book, I had not realized it was a sequel to Summer's Child. It was nice to be back in Cape Hawk with Lily and Marisa....Liam and Patrick....Rose and Jessica. This book is a story about the strength of woman who can overcome even physical or emotional abuse. It is a story about mistrusting love and learning to trust it once again. It is a story about endings and new beginnings. It is a story that in the end, right can win.
This is my third book by Luanne Rice and I must say that I really do enjoy her work.
Happy reading!
Heidi

Luanne Rice is a very favorite author of mine and Summer's Child and Summer of Roses are two of my favorite books. I love to reread books and I have reread these two numerous times. She also wrote Follow the Stars Home which is probably my all time favorite of her books...grins...Hope you are doing okay, here is a hug from CA.
Hello Heidi. I have only just found your blog and am enjoying reading it. I notice that you have a picture of Persephone books which I love and have started collecting. I've just re-read 'High Wages' by Dorothy Whipple which was my mother's favourite book. Try it. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Best wishes!
I've never read Luanne Rice...I have some of her books, though, including this one. Maybe now is the time with my bookshelf challenge :)

Hello Heidi,
Thank you for visiting my blog!
You ask what is Goodreads?
It's a web site for people who read, where you can keep track of books you have read, let others know what you are reading and review what you have read for others to see. It's a great place to find new books to add to your 'to read list'
Might see you there?
Thanks grreat post
